I’m Michelle — artist, writer, and professional chaos wrangler.

I create whimsical, expressive illustrations and digital craft files for misfits, makers, and dreamers — people who feel most at home in creative messes.

This space is where belonging meets imagination: a place for those who color outside the lines, chase new ideas at 2 a.m., and turn “oops” moments into something beautiful. Around here, even the glue strings have personality.

That’s my crazy fun family over there having a tickle-fest in the middle of a photo shoot. And yes, those are TARDIS-covered sneakers I’m wearing.

I’m an AuDHD writer, science geek, and story wonk turned artist, currently working toward my MFA in digital design.

In 2018, I wrote a children’s book and hired an illustrator to bring it to life. I’d worked with digital graphics for years but always believed I couldn’t draw. Watching someone else interpret my ideas made me realize I wanted to create the art myself.

Since then, I’ve learned that illustration — like most creative things — is more about time, practice, and curiosity than innate talent. Working digitally helps, too; the computer smooths the lines my shaky hands distort.

Every project I make now — whether it’s a quirky SVG, a paper craft, or a pattern — feels like another step in learning to belong in my own creative chaos.

Welcome to the Chaos

Where the mess is half the magic.

Behind the Chaos

Every piece I create starts somewhere between curiosity and a mess. Whether I’m gluing paper scraps, drawing digitally in Illustrator, or getting design advice from Annie, this is where the ideas begin — in the beautiful chaos of making.

Crafting with chaos

Messy means magic

Heart of the Chaos

Belonging

Everyone deserves a creative space that feels like home.

Curiosity

I follow sparks, tangents, and glue trails.

Magic

Imperfect is interesting.

Wonder

Every design starts with a "what if?"

Belonging is real — and so is the mess that makes it beautiful.

I believe creativity is for everyone — not just the polished, the perfect, or the precise. Whether you’re a paper crafter, a digital designer, or a midnight doodler, I hope my work reminds you that you belong in the making.

Because crafting with chaos isn’t just my process — it’s my philosophy.
